About The Position

The Quality Coordinator at ScionHealth is responsible for assisting with data collection and analysis, creating aggregate data reports, and ensuring ongoing survey compliance. This role involves reviewing electronic and paper records, performing data entry, and participating in performance improvement activities to enhance hospital performance. The Quality Coordinator will also support the department's efforts in evaluating and improving organizational performance, while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited program leading to licensure as an LPN/LVN or RN, preferred.
• Current clinical licensure, preferred.
• 3 years clinical experience in healthcare and performance measurement or improvement experience.
• Comprehensive understanding of performance improvement strategies for healthcare.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with electronic medical records and data management software.
• Strong communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist with data collection and analysis for performance improvement activities.
• Create aggregate data reports and maintain an event database.
• Perform open record reviews and ensure compliance with National Patient Safety Goals.
• Collaborate with hospital department leaders on performance improvement initiatives.
• Prepare and complete follow-up activities related to Quality Council meetings.
• Lead and facilitate performance improvement teams and projects as assigned.
• Ensure compliance with external regulatory bodies, including CMS and The Joint Commission.
