About The Position

The Quality Coordinator at Clorox is responsible for conducting product quality monitoring activities in a manufacturing environment. This role involves routine product testing, training operations associates on quality methods, auditing plant quality systems, and managing vendor/supplier quality. The Quality Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring adherence to quality specifications and standards, contributing to the overall success of the facility.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of manufacturing experience.
  • 2+ years of laboratory experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power BI).
  • Knowledgeable in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Effective interpersonal skills to interact with plant personnel.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize work.
  • Flexibility to accommodate overtime or schedule changes.
  • Ability to travel for training and development.

Nice To Haves

  • 5+ years of manufacturing experience.
  • 5+ years of quality assurance experience.
  • An Associate's/Technical degree in Data Analytics/Science, Quality Management, or a comparable field.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine product testing to ensure adherence to specifications and standards.
  • Train operations associates on proper quality methods and information.
  • Perform regular audits of plant quality systems.
  • Manage vendor/supplier quality and assist in processing complaints against vendor/supplier material.
  • Monitor and report key process indicators in daily production meetings.
  • Execute cleaning and upkeep of all quality owned instrumentation and equipment.
  • Schedule, plan, and track 3rd party calibrations.
  • Collect production samples and maintain the retain sample area and logbook.
  • Perform incoming raw material inspections and quality release procedures for finished products.
  • Access and distribute current product specifications to advise on acceptability parameters.
  • Assist operations in critical production activities to validate quality specifications and standards.
  • Manage testing and documentation during plant trials and/or qualifications on shift.
  • Follow the Quality Incident Report and Non-conformance reporting structure for Out of Specification incidents.
  • Manage “on hold” product inventory and conduct AQL testing.
  • Conduct daily audits of plant operations and product quality monitoring.
  • Facilitate training and manage documentation to expand quality capability on shift.
  • Assist the Quality Manager with the creation and execution of new quality assurance processes and procedures.
