Quality Control - (1st & 2nd Shift)
About The Position

Uses a hammer and/or saw to correct quality issues in the assembly pallets. Lifts pallets to examine pallets, removes defective boards, and corrects nail-related issues. Understands pallet specifications and modifications necessary for customers. Responsible for troubleshooting jams and basic maintenance of the quality control station. Hours: (1st & 2nd Shift) Weekend overtime as needed. Pay rate- $18.00
Requirements
- Must be 18+ years old
- Basic tool knowledge is a plus
- Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying and flipping of 75-to-85-pound pallets.
Responsibilities
- Willing to work in a fast-paced/high-volume environment
- Attention to detail & commitment to quality
- Inspects pallets visually for defects including, but not limited to, broken boards and blocks, missing components, nail defects, debris and contamination.
- Correct defects that do not meet specification criteria.
- Removes damaged boards with pry bar/hammer.
- Cleans area during and at end of shift.
- May be required to work frequent overtime, weekends, or rotating shifts.
- Performs other duties as required.
