About The Position

The Quality Control Technician at ONX Homes is responsible for ensuring that all quality standards for produced precast elements are met through hands-on activities and inspections. This role involves monitoring production processes, conducting quality control inspections, and maintaining quality records to uphold the company's commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• High school diploma or higher.
• Minimum of 1 year of relative experience in the precast/ready mix industry.
• ACI Certification is preferred.
• Any PCI certifications or equivalent are a plus.
• Basic computer knowledge, especially in MS Office applications.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct activities as defined in the Factory Quality manual.
• Follow all Quality Management System requirements as defined in applicable documents and standards.
• Perform quality control pre- and post-pour inspections on precast elements.
• Monitor pouring operations to ensure compliance with established procedures.
• Prepare and maintain quality control reports and records.
• Motivate and train personnel involved in the production process.
• Conduct in-house concrete testing and maintain related reports and records.
• Monitor and control the in-house QC laboratory and batching plant.
• Raise Nonconformance Reports (NCR) to relevant departments for any violations of established requirements.
• Participate in corrective and preventive action investigations.
• Implement new systems recommended by management as required.
