About The Position

The Quality Control Technician is responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of beverage products by performing various testing and evaluation procedures. This role involves documenting processes, troubleshooting production issues, and maintaining compliance with quality standards and regulations. The technician will work closely with supervisors to track quality trends and implement improvements in production efficiency.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred or equivalent experience.
• 2-3 years hands-on work experience in the carbonated soft drink industry preferred.
• Experience in quality control testing procedures and sanitation of beverage equipment.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office products such as Excel and Word.
• Exceptional interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Understanding of OSHA required training.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Favorable background and drug exam.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in internal and external sanitation of beverage equipment.
• Clear understanding of blending, product attributes, recordkeeping, and yields.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of all cleaning agents and applications, external, internal, cleaners, and sanitizers.
• Properly document and follow all procedures set forth in the frequency guide and standards.
• Fill out batch reports, calculate variations in batch sizes, and document required data per formula.
• Measure and follow proper mixing procedures.
• Evaluate and troubleshoot batches and make necessary corrections.
• Perform all testing, evaluations, and documentation of results while following procedures.
• Troubleshoot and take corrective action on the production line.
• Prepare batch tanks for batching, tank rinsing, tank sanitation, and tasting.
• Perform internal pest control program tasks, including checking and cleaning stations and proper documentation.
• Assist supervisors in resolving Quality Control issues and tracking quality trends.
