About The Position
Primary Responsibility: Inspects and assembles parts to insure they are to specification/order Duties and Responsibilities: Perform in-process and final inspections to insure parts are made to drawing/order specifications Use precision measuring instruments Prioritize work Follow work instructions in place Laser Mark Products
Requirements
- Good mechanical skills
- Attention to detail
- Part drawing interpretation and geometric tolerance
- Ability to use manual inspection equipment efficiently; Micrometers, Indicators, Plug Gages, Calipers, Bore Gages, Depth micrometers
- Perform non conforming product process as required per work instructions
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Basic math skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Able to lift 35 lbs. on occasion
- Work on their feet - 2 hour periods
- Basic computer skills
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience working in a machine shop or an inspection environment in a manufacturing facility is preferred
