About The Position

Roush Yates Manufacturing Solutions is seeking a Full-Time Quality Control Technician for their Weekend Shift (Friday to Sunday 5:00AM to 5:30PM). This role is crucial for ensuring products meet the highest industry standards within a team dedicated to excellence, integrity, and smart problem-solving, fostering a fun and energetic culture. The company specializes in precision CNC parts manufacturing, including multi-axis machining of metal parts with complex geometries, serving the automotive, aerospace, military, and industrial sectors. The technician will be on the front lines, responsible for conducting thorough inspections using manual, visual, and attribute methods, expertly recording data, and generating Non-Conformance reports to communicate findings. They will maintain part integrity and safety during inspections, mentor fellow Quality Technicians in best practices and dimensional verification, and operate critical equipment like CMMs, Vision systems, and Form tracers. This includes performing data reviews on collected DCC data and pulling relevant defect tracking and dimensional reports from the database. Collaboration with the team to address quality issues and develop effective inspection procedures is essential, as is ensuring proper verification, maintenance, and calibration of all gauges used in the inspection process.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years in Quality Control
  • Minimum of 5 years of running CMMs using PC-Dmis or Calypso software
  • Familiarity with common inspection methods
  • Experience with PPAPs and FAIRs
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
  • In depth understanding of GD&T
  • Working knowledge of different types of gaging and measurement methods
  • Ability to communicate findings with quality teammates and production staff
  • Working knowledge of ISO/AS and Calibration requirements
  • Must be a US citizen or a lawful permanent resident for ITAR compliance
  • Certificate, Associate's degree, or equivalent work experience in manufacturing or related technical field
