About The Position
Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a Quality Control Technician to support inspection and quality assurance operations in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, a solid understanding of blueprint reading, and experience inspecting parts to meet tolerance and quality standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience in Quality Control, Inspection, or a related field
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding mechanical tolerances
- Experience using calipers, micrometers, and other inspection tools
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to complete quality reports and maintain documentation accurately
- Technical aptitude and reliability
- Must be able to stand for extended periods during inspections
- Ability to lift and move materials or parts up to 25 lbs
- Good hand-eye coordination for precision measurement tasks
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections on manufactured parts
- Verify tolerances and measurements using appropriate inspection tools
- Complete and maintain quality documentation and reports
- Identify and communicate quality issues to production and engineering teams
- Support continuous improvement and corrective action processes
