The Quality Technician is responsible for performing incoming and in process inspection of materials and finished goods. This position reports to the Quality Manager is part of the Quality Department located in Deland, FL and will be an on-site role. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Perform independent inspections of raw materials, incoming components, and finished products using various inspection gages and visual inspection to ensure parts meet quality standards and maintain records. Control, maintenance, and calibration of various measuring and test equipment (MT&E) and maintain records. Assist with other tasks as required to Support Engineers in carrying out product-related inspection tasks and ensure maintenance of documentation and records.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to interpret engineering prints, drawings, and specifications, apply requirements in various test and inspection activities, and have a working knowledge of Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Ability to use a range of basic test and measurement tools, including calipers, height gage, micrometers, coordinated measuring machines (CMM), etc.

  • Experienced Coordinated measuring machine (CMM) operator/programmer
  • Experience working in manufacturing environment, Quality Assurance Quality Control inspection role
