Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Construction Materials or related field preferred.
Must have valid ACI certification.
Certified PennDOT Technician recommended.
Knowledge of concrete properties, mix design, and testing procedures.
Familiarity with ASTM and ACI standards.
Ability to work in outdoor and plant environments.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Must have correctable vision with reasonably good night vision
Must be able to lift and carry 50 to 100 lbs. occasionally and /or 25 to 50 lbs. frequently and/or 10 to 20 lbs. constantly to move objects
Requires manual dexterity and ability to bend, twist, turn, stretch, squat, kneel, sit and stand for extended periods
Must be able to work in elevated, enclosed and sometimes hazardous areas in changing weather conditions.

Nice To Haves

Certified PennDOT Technician recommended.
Associate degree in Construction Materials or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform routine testing of concrete, aggregates, and raw materials to ensure compliance with ASTM, ACI, and company standards.
Monitor and adjust mix designs based on test results and project requirements.
Maintain accurate records of test results, inspections, and adjustments.
Conduct on-site sampling and testing at job sites as needed.
Collaborate with plant operators and dispatch to resolve quality issues promptly.
Ensure all testing equipment is calibrated and maintained.
Assist in troubleshooting material or mix inconsistencies.
