As a Quality Control Technician, you’ll contribute to JM’s mission as a world leader in sustainable technology, transforming energy and reducing carbon emissions for a cleaner, brighter future. The role: As a Quality Control Technician, you will help drive our goals by: Perform designated physical, electrical, chemical, metallurgical, and mechanical tests, including but not limited to: Mount, grind, polish, etch, and inspect metallurgical specimens. Operate metallograph and microscopes, for photo-micrographic examination of samples. Operate SEM and perform advanced inspections. Keep accurate test records including adding data to departmental databases. Perform calibration on measuring equipment. Key skills that will help you succeed in this role: High school diploma with a minimum of 3 years of metallurgy laboratory experience. Bachelor’s degree preferred Excellent computer skills, specifically Excel and Word. Must be able to work independently on a regular basis and demonstrate teamwork across shifts Familiarity with manufacturing and/or testing of metal tubing and wire is a plus. Requirements
