Essential Duties and Responsibilities Follow written inspection and testing procedures to ensure manufactured product meets established construction, aesthetic, and operational standards; perform all quality control checks electronically within an ERP system Carry out quality assessment measures of all products ready to be shipped Reject all non-conforming product before it ships to the customer Record inspection results by completing forms, summarizing re-work, and inputting data into a quality database Use gauges such as go/no-go and other devices to ensure product was built to standards Maintain awareness of Engineering and or process changes that affect product quality (ECN’s) Immediately report re-occurring quality issues to Management Update QC knowledge by participating in educational opportunities sponsored by the company Ensure jigs/tools have been returned to the correct storage location at days end Ensure proper placement of all warning decals Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams. Protect Chamberlain Group’s and Systems’ reputation by keeping information confidential. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies. Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed.

Requirements

No minimum education required
2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
Ability to read tape measure and blueprints
Ability to always follow instructions and processes
Proficiency in MS Excel, Word
Proficient written and verbal communication skills
Mechanical aptitude

Responsibilities
