This Quality Control Technician position is responsible for performing inspections of purchased parts, subassemblies, or finished goods, documenting results, assisting in procedure development, generating and tracking Nonconforming Material Reports, coordinating calibrations and cleanroom certifications, supporting monitoring meetings, submitting samples for testing, and reviewing documentation for compliance.

Requirements

  • Education and/or experience equivalent to a High School Diploma.
  • A minimum of three years of work related experience.
  • Demonstrated computer skills preferably spreadsheets, word processing, database and other applicable software programs.
  • Knowledge of various tooling and testing equipment.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of manufacturing practices and ISO requirements.
  • Experience working in a medical device environment.

Responsibilities

  • Performs inspections of purchased parts, subassemblies, or finished goods according to defined procedures.
  • Accurately documents the results of the inspections and testing.
  • Assists in developing or updating inspection procedures as needed.
  • Generates Nonconforming Material Reports (NCMR) for products not meeting specifications.
  • Tracks and maintains NCMR’s through the Quality Management System.
  • Generates Certificate of Compliance documentation for finished good product.
  • Coordinates annual calibration with outside calibration services.
  • Coordinates annual cleanroom certification with outside cleanroom certification service.
  • Supports monthly monitoring and trending meetings.
  • Submits Bioburden and endotoxin samples to outside testing facility.
  • Reviews Device History Records and other documents for compliance with established procedures.
  • Performs a variety of other tasks and related work, as required.
