About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Technician to support industrial inspection, documentation management, and operational quality assurance in Commerce City, CO. This role focuses on incoming and outgoing unit evaluation, sampling processes, and accurate quality documentation within a production and shipping workflow. The QC Tech will play a key role in maintaining product integrity, safety awareness, and operational accuracy while coordinating across shop, shipping, and administrative teams in Commerce City, Colorado. This is a full-time position suited for candidates with experience performing inspection work, managing technical records, and working safely around industrial equipment and material handling systems. The technician will assist with unit verification, labeling, reporting, and sample collection while maintaining organized operational records in Commerce City, CO.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in quality control, inspection, or industrial documentation management.
  • Familiarity with CorelDRAW or similar drafting software for labeling or drawing tasks.
  • Understanding of sampling methods, inspection procedures, and technical reporting.
  • Ability to work safely around forklifts, processing equipment, and industrial materials.
  • Strong attention to detail when reviewing labels, paperwork, and test documentation.
  • Basic knowledge of inventory organization and photo-based tracking systems.
  • Good communication skills for coordination with operations and shipping personnel in Commerce City.

Responsibilities

  • Perform incoming inspection and evaluation of units, including internal/external photography and drawing preparation for inventory and quality tracking in Commerce City.
  • Prepare outgoing units by creating nameplates, applying product labels, completing QC checklists, and verifying test reports.
  • Support shipping and receiving operations by reviewing Bills of Lading (BOL), assisting with load handling, and confirming secure transportation practices.
  • Operate and monitor oil processing or treatment equipment while collecting DGA samples when required.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and documentation records using OneDrive or similar digital storage systems.
  • Photograph outbound shipments and ensure proper job documentation before release.
  • Submit completed job records to Accounting and update internal job tracking systems.
  • Communicate with drivers, operations staff, and shop teams to ensure workflow accuracy in Commerce City, CO.
