Requirements

• Preferred to have WAQTC: asphalt II & aggregates
• High school diploma or general education (GED)
• Knowledge of asphalt and aggregate products and industry quality standards.
• Intermediate computer skills
• Ability to safely move up to 70 lbs.
• Develop knowledge of scales, shakers, ovens and sieves.

Responsibilities

• Sample asphalt from hot plant and field.
• Sample aggregates at pits and plants.
• Control asphalt densities by roller patterns.
• Core asphalt and fill out excel reports.
• Perform data filing and quality assurance sample storage.
• Calculate and report findings through computer programs.
• Maintain insurable driving record.
• Ensure a safe work environment.
