Requirements

  • Up to 2 years' experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to learn and acquire new molecular biology skills to perform complex assay testing
  • Understand the quality control process to meet ISO compliance standards
  • Increase ability to troubleshoot assays and procedures
  • Provide constructive feedback on QC improvements
  • Drive and determination
  • Background in Molecular Biology applications
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Power Point and other applications.
  • Positive relationship management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced/change oriented environment
  • Self-Starter
  • Driven to perform
  • Self-directed with minimal management assistance.
  • Able to organize and prioritize a diverse set of responsibilities to ensure that focus on growth and success of company is achieved
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in Biology or Biochemistry

Responsibilities

  • Independently perform assays and evaluate results for product qualification
  • Adhere to quality control work instructions
  • Maintain complete, contemporaneous and accurate records of all work performed
  • Manage reagents and inventory used for QC testing
  • Participate in continuous process improvement activities
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced quality control process
  • Must be comfortable working with radioactivity
  • Develop, revise and review SOPs, qualification/validation protocols and reports.
  • Perform additional job duties as assigned
