About The Position

The Quality Technician 1 is responsible for ensuring that all instruments/products, both new and in service, conform to all Oticon quality standards, parameters, requirements and customer expectations

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required
2-3 years of operator or other production role
Quality knowledge preferred
Proficient in MS Office, experience in ERP and maintenance programs
Knowledge of computer programs such as CATHI, ATS, Range tester experience a plus
Must exhibit strong organizational, communication, interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Proficiently read, understand, and communicate in English

Responsibilities

Perform routine inspections and tests on products and materials.
Record inspection results and maintain accurate records.
Ensure products meet basic quality standards and specifications.
Assist higher-level technicians and engineers with quality control tasks.
Participate in training programs to develop skills and knowledge.
Validate all components of order
Check units for appropriate control mold
Perform acoustic test and listening check for devices
Document rejects and returns for further processing
Maintain a safe, orderly, and clean workspace always
Provide support in VA programing
All other duties as assigned
