About The Position
The position involves testing and inspecting products at various stages of the production process. The role requires compiling and evaluating statistical data to determine and maintain the quality and reliability of products. The individual will perform a variety of duties including verifying dimensions and clearances of parts, aligning and assembling component parts, and recording test data using statistical quality control procedures. The position also includes operating coordinate measuring machines, preparing recommendations for modifications to quality standards, and evaluating device history records. Additionally, the role involves setting up and performing both destructive and nondestructive tests on materials and products, selecting products for testing, and preparing reports and data analysis.
