About The Position
The Quality Assurance position at Shamrock Foods Company is responsible for maintaining all aspects of Quality Assurance to ensure proper, safe, and exceptional operation of the department. This role involves auditing products for quality and safety prior to dispatching them to customers, as well as auditing incoming raw materials to ensure they meet supplier specifications, quality, and food security standards. The position requires compliance with all regulations, including maintaining the plant in a proper sanitary condition at all times, allergen control, and pest control. The Quality Assurance team member will also fill out necessary paperwork for product audits and HACCP documents, review these documents before handing them to the QA Supervisor/Manager, and work closely with operational teams to ensure adherence to standard work processes and production sanitation processes. Additionally, the role includes aiding in plant training requirements and conducting training sessions as needed. The individual must be able to work within timelines and in pressure situations, and other duties may be assigned as necessary.
