The QC Technician - Electrical will be responsible for quality control of electrical systems, from preconstruction through the commissioning phases. This role includes inspecting electrical installations to ensure compliance with project documentation, applicable codes, and industry best practices. You will work closely with electrical contractors, design professionals, and clients to address and resolve electrical coordination and technical issues. The position requires a proactive approach to ensure that all electrical systems are installed correctly and meet the necessary standards. In this role, you will schedule and coordinate electrical system inspections and related trade personnel. Conducting onsite inspections of electrical installations will be a key responsibility, ensuring compliance with approved QA/QC plans and project requirements. You will verify that electrical systems meet applicable standards, including NEC codes, and participate in QA/QC meetings to provide feedback on electrical system quality. Additionally, you will perform offsite inspections of electrical components and equipment, addressing technical issues related to electrical system installation and resolving issues to closure. This position is critical in maintaining the integrity and safety of electrical systems within construction projects, ensuring that all installations are performed to the highest standards and in accordance with regulatory requirements. Your expertise will contribute to the overall success of the projects and the satisfaction of clients and stakeholders.
