Your Role This role is for an Advanced Level Membrane Analytical Lab Quality Control Technician responsible for supporting the full operation of testing biopharmaceutical membranes. A primary focus is maximizing safety, quality, and productivity within the lab. The technician will support advanced level testing operations by performing intermediate troubleshooting, membrane preparation, and testing processes, requiring an intermediate level of knowledge of the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS). Duties include: This is a B Shift position Monday- Friday 2PM-10PM

Requirements

  • 3+ years of laboratory experience.
  • High school diploma or GED.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's degree in any life science discipline.
  • 3+ years' experience in an aseptic laboratory environment.
  • 1+ years of experience with Laboratory Information Management Systems.
  • Strong knowledge of EHS, ISO, cGMP, and other laboratory and regulatory requirements.
  • Demonstrated computer skills, familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Reliable and self-motivated.
  • Read, follow and understand Test Methods, Test Specifications, and other technical documentation.
  • Certified trainer.

Responsibilities

  • Test membranes and related materials safely and in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures, Quality and Safety Specifications and GMP standards.
  • Follow procedures to perform required membrane testing independently.
  • Safely set up, operate, and monitor inputs and outputs from quality lab test equipment such as HPLC/GPCs, UV/Vis, pH meter, and analytical balances.
  • Support quality lab operations and projects under the guidance of master and lead technicians.
  • Accurately complete and review documentation per GMP standards.
  • Initiate and participate in Out of Specification (OOS) investigations.
  • Supports the execution of protocols, qualifications, and validations; ensures a clean and orderly workspace; and proactively identifies and reports safety, quality, and productivity concerns, including hazardous conditions or behaviors observed on site.
  • Participates in laboratory audits and tours, performs advanced set-ups and troubleshooting, reviews and verifies test and process data to ensure accurate entry into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), contributes to sustainability efforts, and operates under limited supervision.
