About The Position

The Quality Control Technician is responsible for conducting in-depth quality checks and inspections to ensure that customer requirements are successfully executed. Requirements

  • Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a forklift license.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and interpret verbal and written instructions.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to stand, bend, lift, and/or move up to 50 pounds for extended periods.
  • Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in food safety or willingness to receive training in food safety.
  • Experience with process audits and data entry.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth quality checks and inspections.
  • Perform accurate and detailed product inspections, including measuring, weighing, and documenting product attributes.
  • Manage product sorting and reworks as required by the customer.
  • Participate in the customer complaint process, including entering, tracking, and resolving complaints.
  • Complete audits and reports for management and customers by requested due dates.
  • Follow established food/safety SOPs and AIB standards.
  • Foster a culture of safety throughout the workplace.
