Wherever there is a need for motive power, EnerSys offers the perfect energy solution.  Job PurposeConducts evaluations and analyzes materials, products, and processes using Quality techniques and procedures at the Missouri Value Added Center (MOVAC).Essential Duties and Responsibilities Review non-conforming products for disposition (return to factory of origin, scrap, return to stock, etc.). Inspection of incoming batteries and/or components per predetermined sampling plans. Conducts measurement system analyses and capability studies of CTQ characteristics. Conducts calibrations for electrical and mechanical test and measurement equipment. Maintains calibration standards and inspection records. Perform inspections on purchased and manufactured products as required by quality control plans. Provides support and assistance in problem identification and resolution. Data entry in various applications (i.e. product disposition, scrap codes, etc.). Able to review data with site leadership. No supervisor responsibilities for this role.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Ability to do basic math.
  • Data entry.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to read, write, and understand the local language.
  • Possess a valid forklift driver's license or previous forklift experience.
  • 3-plus years of Quality-related experience.

Nice To Haves

  • 4-year technical degree or 5 years quality experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of 5S and Quality Management Systems.
