This position will perform product verification, generate corrective action requests (CAR), perform funcational testing and report results on web based software among other job duties and will report to the Quality Manager. Summary DANCO seeks a Quality Control Technician to work in the Dallas, Tx Distribution center. The qualified candidate will perform lab testing, product verification and be responsible for Corrective Action Request, and would be responsible for equipment calibration.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year experience in quality and in a warehouse environment.
- Good mathematical, statistical and analytical skill.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong computer skills in MS Excel, Word and Oracle.
- Candidate must be a team player and be able to shift directions rapidly and work well under pressure.
- Able to follow written instructions, procedures and schedules with minimal supervision.
- Good work ethic, willing to learn and have a positive Can Do attitude.
Responsibilities
- Generate Corrective Action Requests (CAR) for non-comformance issues and follow up CAR with buyers and suppliers until completion.
- Track, maintain and file CAR.
- Perform functional testing and report results to a web based software.
- Perform inbound inspection and approve samples.
- Knowledge of FA and PPAP approval processes.
- In process Inspection.
