Requirements

  • Minimum 6-months Quality Control Experience preferred. (automotive field a plus)
  • Minimum a 2-year degree in a technical field of study required.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have excellent mechanical abilities.
  • Proficient Computer Skills (Microsoft Word, Excel).
  • Must have good working knowledge of Pressure, Temperature, Humidity, Vibration, and Corrosion testing of automotive assemblies.
  • Ability to develop test schedule and track results.
  • Ability to stay focused for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Ability to analyze information, identify problems.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Must be able to begin and complete tasks with minimal.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to service and professionalism through appropriate conduct and demeanor.
  • Possess patience, tact, enthusiasm as well as diplomacy when dealing with any person no matter the circumstances.
  • Possess initiative and sound judgement in evaluating and reacting to situations.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure in potentially stressful and time sensitive situations.
  • Possess problem-solving skills with high attention to detail, including the ability to prioritize.
  • Pre-employment screening will be required

Responsibilities

  • Perform testing on received and manufactured components.
  • Perform calibration of lab equipment.
  • Perform DV, PV and IP test based on yearly plan.
  • Complete daily status reports.
  • Support incoming tests.
  • Repair or schedule repair of lab equipment.
  • Drives a culture of constant improvement, identifying and implementing changes to increase productivity and efficiency of service.
  • Enforce Sizemore’s policies and procedures as needed.
  • Additional duties assigned, as necessary.
