About The Position

The Quality Control Specialist is a key member of the Quality team, responsible for conducting operational audits, verifying process adherence, and working cross-functionally to resolve quality issues. This role plays a pivotal part in upholding customer satisfaction and continuous improvement efforts across sites.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in Auditing or Quality Assurance preferred.
  • Solid understanding of operational workflows, quality control processes, and corrective action methodologies.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven critical thinking, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct one (1) quality layered audit per site, per week, with full documentation and reporting.
  • Coordinate post-audit actions including scheduling team reviews, organizing training or re-training, and driving corrective actions to closure.
  • Review customer non-conformance reports (NCRs), perform initial investigations, and draft preliminary responses.
  • Partner with site leadership to schedule and execute NCR-related standdowns and track team participation.
  • Perform and document routine Verification & Validation (V&V) audits.
  • Conduct photo verifications as required, based on site-specific targets.
  • Other Duties as Assigned.
