Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and inspections to ensure subcontractors performance and vendor products are to code and specifications.
• Review all submittals and drawings, conduct meetings as required and keep record of all quality control activities including inspection and tests.
• Develop understanding/working knowledge of company quality control program, company standards, procedures, codes, etc. required to perform assigned work.
• Conduct subcontractors, project and material inspections to ensure proper workmanship, as well as code/specification compliance.
• Assist in maintaining work performance records, inspection records and other related items; ensure correctness of all documents.
• Review subcontractor's submittals, as builts, and operations and maintenance manuals.
• Schedule meetings as required with subcontractors, owners, etc.
• Assist in coordinating quality control inspection schedules with other department schedules.
• Review design documents for contract compliance.
• Provide training and technical support for required departments as needed.
• Exercise initiative or, as directed, perform additional duties to meet the needs of the organization.

Requirements

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree from a four-year college/university or equivalent experience.
• Entry level to five years or more of related work experience required.
