About The Position
The Quality Control Specialist IV - TDAF performs a second review of dispute information input by the Credit Bureau Dispute Specialist to ensure accuracy and adherence to policy, procedure and FCRA regulations. This role involves performing quality reviews of highly complex loan documentation to reduce risk of loss and ensure policy and regulatory compliance. The specialist completes quality control analysis of standard and nonstandard loan documentation and provides ongoing customer service, ensuring data integrity and performing various functions related to the workgroup to avert losses and reduce undue risk. The position may lead activities of the documentation unit, assigning, prioritizing, and monitoring work, while also providing support and coaching to less experienced quality control personnel. The specialist resolves complex unusual irregularities and items not in compliance with applicable regulations and/or company policy, applying knowledge of company policies to determine next steps in resolving outstanding issues. They formulate and execute plans to resolve complex issues and involve others as appropriate, making recommendations to management for improvement in processes related to files or areas of evaluation. The role also includes evaluating trends in errors within assigned groups and suggesting modifications to business processes to diminish errors, meeting with management of business lines to discuss appropriate measures for error reduction, and following up on unresolved issues to ensure resolution.
