Your role as a Quality Control Mortgage Underwriter As a Quality Control Mortgage Underwriter at LendSure Mortgage Corp, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with current regulations and company policies through meticulous reviews. You will conduct pre-documentation and post-funding quality control assessments, leveraging your strong oral and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues. Your attention to detail and ability to multitask will allow you to manage a high daily loan volume efficiently. A thorough understanding of credit risk and proficiency in reviewing complex financial documents are essential, enabling you to assess creditworthiness while adhering to all regulatory and compliance requirements. Familiarity with Microsoft Office and experience with Encompass LOS will further enhance your contributions as a valuable team player in this fast-paced environment focused on excellence and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

Minimum 4 years of recent experience in quality control or residential mortgage underwriting.
A comprehensive understanding of state and federal lending regulations, including TRID, Ability to Repay, RESPA, Reg B, Reg Z, and Fair Lending, is essential for ensuring compliance and maintaining the integrity of our processes.
Strong analytical skills are required to interpret complex financial documents and assess credit risk effectively.
Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills will facilitate collaboration with team members and supervisors.
The ability to multitask and manage time efficiently is crucial, given the high volume of loans processed.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with Encompass LOS will enhance your capacity to deliver exceptional results in a fast-paced environment focused on quality and customer satisfaction.
Minimum 4 years of recent experience in quality control position and/or underwriting of residential mortgage loans.
Have a complete and clear understanding and experience with state and federal lending regulations.
