About The Position

Quality Control Manager Shipyard / Marine Coatings Industry Anchor Sandblasting and Coatings, LLC is seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager to lead and oversee all quality control activities related to surface preparation, blasting, and coating operations. This role ensures compliance with contract requirements, customer specifications, industry standards, and internal quality procedures across multiple shipyard projects. What You'll Do Manage and oversee all quality control inspections for assigned projects Ensure compliance with contract requirements, specifications, and good painting practices Develop, implement, and enforce Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and internal QC procedures Review and approve daily inspection reports and quality documentation Lead and administer the company corrective action program, including nonconforming work and rework Ensure inspection and testing equipment is calibrated, maintained, and properly documented Support audits, client inspections, and regulatory compliance efforts Identify quality trends and recommend continuous improvement initiatives Maintain a strong focus on safety, including confined space and elevated work environments What We're Looking For NACE CIP Level 2 Certification required (Level 3 preferred or equivalent) 5+ years of experience in Industrial and/or Marine Coatings Prior supervisory or lead quality control experience preferred Strong knowledge of surface preparation and coating application standards Experience with inspection documentation and corrective action programs Working knowledge of TrueQC or similar quality management systems preferred Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Ability to work in confined spaces and elevated areas (staging, scaffolding, boom lifts) Shipyard or maritime industry experience strongly preferred Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Schedule Full-time position, 40+ hours per week Typical first shift: 7:00 AM – 3:45 PM (project needs may require flexibility) Why Join Anchor Sandblasting and Coatings? Requirements

• NACE CIP Level 2 Certification required (Level 3 preferred or equivalent)
• 5+ years of experience in Industrial and/or Marine Coatings
• Prior supervisory or lead quality control experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of surface preparation and coating application standards
• Experience with inspection documentation and corrective action programs
• Working knowledge of TrueQC or similar quality management systems preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
