The Quality Control Manager oversees all food safety and quality assurance systems across the organization, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards. This role leads the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of food safety programs, including SQF and HACCP systems, and manages training initiatives to ensure alignment across all facilities. What does your day look like? Some of your duties may include: Participate in R&D processes for new products, including regulatory approval of product labels and verification of nutrition and ingredient information. Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of the SQF system, including food safety fundamentals and plans. Ensure integrity of the SQF system through communication, verification, and validation activities. Manage plant HACCP reporting, including data collection, procedure development, and record keeping. Perform plant floor activities such as audits, documentation updates, and compliance checks. Facilitate and deliver food safety and quality training programs for new hires, supervisors, and management. Manage supplier control programs, including documentation and compliance tracking. Partner with plant personnel to maintain compliance and improve food safety processes. Monitor adherence to quality standards, SOPs, and product specifications. Lead internal audits, root cause analysis, and corrective action initiatives. Support continuous improvement efforts across food safety and quality programs.
