The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing quality control processes, ensuring that all fitness machines and equipment meet our high standards before being shipped. This role requires a hands-on leader who can develop and refine processes, maintain ISO 9001 standards, and ensure every machine is inspected thoroughly. The Quality Control Manager will play a key role in maintaining our product quality, ensuring that all fitness equipment functions as intended, and addressing any discrepancies with parts or assembly. This is an in-person position requiring close collaboration with warehouse staff, suppliers, and operations teams. The Quality Control Manager will oversee and conduct in-person quality checks during the palletizing process to ensure machines are packaged and ready for shipping with zero defects. They will also be responsible for ordering replacement parts for machines that are incomplete or defective, ensuring swift and efficient repairs. Compliance with ISO 9001 standards for quality management is essential, and the manager will need to develop machine-specific processes to identify common parts that are often missing from suppliers. This includes creating checklists for consistent quality checks and logging corrections made by workers for each machine to track trends and make improvements. Additionally, the role involves conducting decibel noise testing to measure the noise levels of machines, ensuring they operate like new and meet our standards for sound and functionality. The Quality Control Manager will also inspect how parts are packaged to avoid damage during shipping, collaborating with team members to ensure packaging materials and methods provide adequate protection.
