About The Position

GENERAL DESCRIPTION Leads daily Quality Control inspection activities, oversees inspectors, and ensures compliance with AS9110, DCMA 8210.1, and FAA Part 145 requirements. Responsible for execution of inspections, quality records integrity, and document control. DUTIES Lead and coordinate daily activities of Quality Control Inspectors Provide direction, coaching, and ensure personnel qualification/currency Perform and oversee in-process and final inspections on aircraft maintenance and modifications Ensure compliance with technical data, contract requirements, and regulatory standards Verify completion and accuracy of inspection records and documentation Maintain control of quality records, logs, and document revisions Review and approve documentation prior to submission to customers/regulators Identify nonconformances and support corrective action and root cause analysis Support audits, audit readiness, and quality system compliance Coordinate with Production and Leadership on priorities and issues Ensure proper use of inspection tools and test equipment Promote adherence to company policies, procedures, and safety requirements Other duties as assigned EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS High School Diploma or GED required 12–15+ years aircraft maintenance experience 5+ years Quality Assurance/Control experience Prior lead or senior inspector experience preferred FAA A&P Certification required (IA preferred) Strong knowledge of AS9110, DCMA 8210.1, and FAA Part 145 Experience interpreting technical data, drawings, and schematics Proficient in Microsoft Office and quality documentation systems PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Ability to stand, walk, climb, and work on elevated platforms Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to perform detailed visual inspections and use precision tools EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER/VEVRAA/ADA TNC and its subsidiaries fall under ANCSA and are entitled under Federal Law to extend hiring preferences to its shareholders. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 12–15+ years aircraft maintenance experience
  • 5+ years Quality Assurance/Control experience
  • FAA A&P Certification required (IA preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of AS9110, DCMA 8210.1, and FAA Part 145
  • Experience interpreting technical data, drawings, and schematics
