About The Position

Join Our Team as a Quality Control Lead! Location: Groveport, OH | Department: Quality ControlFull-Time Position | Reports To: QC Lab Manager Ready to take your lab career to the next level? Kdc/one is looking for a QC Lead to help drive excellence in our lab operations and ensure our products meet the highest standards. What You’ll Do: Lead day-to-day operations in the QC Lab, supporting both analytical and microbiology testing. Coach and mentor lab staff to meet performance goals and uphold quality standards. Review product testing results and communicate any out-of-spec findings. Maintain lab equipment and inventory and recommend upgrades to boost efficiency. Conduct investigations into lab errors, safety incidents, and quality deviations. Oversee training to ensure all lab staff follow SOPs, Work Instructions, and cGMPs. Test incoming raw materials and finished products using equipment like GC, HPLC, and FTIR. Prepare Certificates of Analysis and manage product releases in SAP. Collaborate across departments to improve lab processes and support special projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or a related science field (required)
  • 3+ years of lab experience in a manufacturing setting
  • Knowledge of FDA GMPs, OSHA safety standards, aseptic sampling, and SAP
  • Strong problem-solving, organization, and communication skills
  • Ability to train others, multitask, and operate scientific lab equipment
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
  • Requires standing, walking, reaching, and color/scent identification for testing
