About The Position
We are seeking a Lab Technician with previous quality control experience in the food industry. This position consists of testing and sampling all products and ensuring that we are producing a safe, great tasting, quality product that meets our specifications.
Requirements
- Previous QC Experience
- Knowledge of GMP's, SSOP's and HAACP
Nice To Haves
- B.S. Degree in Food Science or Life Science preferred but not required
- HAACP Certification a plus
- Experience in a food production facility a plus
Responsibilities
- Facilitate HACCP compliance
- Oversee product sampling and analysis process
- Participate in microbiological control program
- Ensure all products meet quality and safety specifications via product testing
- Calculate adjustments to batches and alter batches to meet specs
- Participate in quality and sanitation programs
- Facilitate regulatory compliance
