About The Position

GELITA USA is seeking qualified individuals to fill the position of Quality Control Lab Internship in our Sioux City, Iowa location. The Quality Control Laboratory Intern is responsible for performing general laboratory tasks and duties in support of the normal laboratory activities. Support the ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and FSSC 22000 management systems and the Quality, Environmental, and Food Safety Policy as appropriate in the function.

Requirements

• Completed high school
• Be enrolled to pursue a Chemistry or related degree, or some college preferably.

Responsibilities

• Perform general laboratory tasks and duties in support of the normal laboratory activities
• Responsible for media preparation, sampling in the plants, and sample disposal
• Other projects as assigned by the QC Management
