  • Perform dimensional and visual inspections.
  • Conduct hardness testing.
  • Maintain gage calibrations.
  • Document inspection results.
  • Determine accuracy of heat codes and material test reports.
  • Initiate documentation for nonconforming materials, components, sub-assemblies, and finished assemblies.
  • Verify effectiveness of Corrective and Preventive actions.
  • Maintain a professional relationship with machinists, assemblers, test technicians, and supervisors.
  • Understand and comply with Quality Policy and QMS requirements.
  • Comply with all health and safety rules.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Six months related experience required.
  • Good computer and communication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings.
  • Ability to use testing, measuring, and monitoring equipment such as calipers and micrometers.
  • Visual acuity testing to J2 with or without corrected vision required.
  • Forklift experience.
  • Open to cross-training and assisting other areas of the quality department as needed.
