Shift: Weekend: Thursday- Sunday 5:30AM-4:00PM Job Role: Perform Incoming, Preliminary, In-process, Hidden Damage, and Final Inspections of Aircraft and Components. Prepare and complete FAA 8130-3 Airworthiness Approval Tags, Aircraft Logbook Entries, and CAMP cards as the customer requires. Ensure accurate maintenance, materials, and inspection documentation before aircraft or components return to service. Test aircraft systems and components using tools such as torque wrenches, ammeters, or test lamps. Document inspections and maintenance findings and maintain detailed inspection records of the aircraft maintenance history. Identify and report on defects, wear and tear, corrosion, and other potential risks to aircraft safety. Perform maintenance and repair work on aircraft as necessary. Keep up to date on changes in federal regulations and manufacturer's maintenance procedures. Ensure adherence to all FAA regulations, including 14 CFR Parts 21, 43, 65, 91, 135, and 145, OEM technical data, and Repair Station Manuals (RSQM). Understand and implement maintenance practices that meet the specific regulatory requirements of Part 121 and Part 135 operators. Work closely with maintenance personnel to resolve any issues identified during inspections. Maintain calibration, traceability, shelf life, and scrap programs. Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment per OSHA standards.

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Completion of an accredited aviation maintenance technician program is required.
  • A valid FAA Aircraft Mechanic License with Airframe & Powerplant is required.
  • 1-3 years of Quality Control experience required.
  • 5+ years of aviation technician leadership experience - military or civilian required.
  • Proven experience in aircraft maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting, ideally working on a variety of aircraft models required.
  • Familiarity with aircraft systems, including avionics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and powerplant required.
  • Experience following technical manuals and procedures accurately required.
  • Experience using electronic maintenance tracking programs is required.

Nice To Haves

  • FAA Inspection Authorization is highly desired.
