About The Position

As a Quality Control Inspector, you will perform functions associated with quality control and quality assurance operations, including working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks and carrying out rework and quality assurance procedures related to production or operations. Conduct Incoming/ In-process Quality Control activities associated with components, assemblies, and/ or electro-mechanical products Conduct Final Quality Control Release activities associated with completed customer orders/ products Ensure acceptance activities, including documentation requirements (depending on the situation, this may include review of packaging, labeling, product literature, and/ or revision levels) are met for accepted products Work from engineering schematics or blueprints to perform accurate checks and tests; with calibrated gauges, tools, and equipment Comply with all quality, regulatory, and documentation procedures and policies Follow Line Clearance Policy, maintaining inspection gear and overall workstation cleanliness and organization Provide customer service support to internal customers (Quality, Operations, Materials, Engineering, or Divisional teams) Interact with internal customers, suppliers, and other external customers to resolve quality control issues Provide inspection technique, process, or procedure training to others

Requirements

  • Meet work schedule and overtime requirements, including weekends
  • Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force on a frequent basis and/or up to 75 pounds of force occasionally to move objects

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or GED
  • One (1) Year manufacturing experience
  • Experience with final quality inspection of assembled products; repairs
