About The Position

Inspect parts, products and/or processes to insure conformance with standards. Inspects materials or products using fixed or variable measuring instruments. Checks for irregularities and defects. Compares product with parts list to ensure completion of assembly. Verifies specified dimensions on product or material by performing the following duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Engages in inspections and testing activities to ensure continuous control over materials, facilities, and products. Ensures all quality control policies, procedures, directives and systems are in compliance with company and/or applicable federal regulations, continually strives to increase the level of quality assurance within the facility. Ensures all safety policies and procedures are followed in accordance with guidelines established by the Company in accordance with OSHA regulations. Maintains monthly inspections. Continuous learning of 3280 HUD standards Detailed orientated Able to follow specific procedures and instructions.

Requirements

  • High School degree or G.E.D.
  • one year related experience and/or training
  • equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
  • Able to perform each essential function.
  • Regularly required to talk or hear.
  • Frequently required to walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
  • Required to stand; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
