We are currently looking for Quality Control to monitor and control the production process to ensure that the final product meets specific quality standards. The Opportunity: Inspect and determine acceptability of custom fabricated mechanical parts and electrical assemblies (PCBAs and cables) using industry-appropriate methods and standards (e.g. IPC-A-610, JSTD-001, MIL-STD, etc.), measuring dimensions and examining functionality. Able to use engineering drawings or process documentation to perform inspections. Execute first article inspections of newly released designs. Perform incoming, in-process, final and pre-ship inspections in manufacturing and/or shipping ensuring product conformance to internal and external standards. Ensure the integrity of the end-item-data-package (EIDP) for delivered hardware. Record inspection results by completing reports, summarizing results, and adding data into the quality management system database; Communicate inspection results and offer continual improvement suggestions Generate nonconformance reports and perform minor dispositioning for reworks or scrap. Execute process audits in the production or inspection areas. Identify opportunities for process improvements to improve overall quality Other duties as assigned by your direct supervisor
