Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience in quality control or a related field preferred
  • Experience in construction, precast concrete, manufacturing
  • Able to read and understand shop drawings, specifications, and inspection criteria

Responsibilities

  • Inspect precast concrete during each stage of production, from form setup and reinforcing through finishing, curing, stripping, and storage.
  • Check dimensions, tolerances, surface finish, and embed placement against drawings and specifications.
  • Make, cure, & store concrete test cylinders in accordance with required standards.
  • Verify materials and mix designs match approved submittals.
  • Keep clear, accurate inspection records and document any nonconforming work.
  • Flag defects early and communicate issues to production and engineering.
  • Work with the team to identify root causes and prevent repeat issues.
  • Support production teams by reinforcing quality expectations and best practices.
  • Follow plant safety rules and keep inspection and testing areas organized.
