Position Summary: The Quality Control Inspector will perform visual and dimensional inspection functions using inspection equipment, microscopes, and gages for part dimensions. The job requires the individual to be a team player with the ability to function well in a challenging and fast paced environment. Must be enthusiastic, positive, even tempered and have strong skills in areas of dependability, interpersonal relationships, flexibility and maturity.

Requirements

  • At least 2 - 5 years’ experience in a Quality Control environment
  • Strong organizational and attention to detail skills required
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Conducts all activities safely and efficiently, Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs

Nice To Haves

  • Calibration experience a plus
  • Knowledge of CMM and Video Measuring equipment a plus

Responsibilities

  • Follow all inspection standard operating procedures outlined in Globus Medical’s quality policy
  • Perform visual & dimensional final product inspections on medical devices
  • Detect and control nonconforming product
  • Ensure accurate record keeping of inspection records
  • Must be able to use dimensional measuring equipment (thread and pin gauges, calipers, micrometers, height gauges and other measurement equipment).
  • Able to comprehend product drawings and interpret dimensional and functional specifications
  • Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner, other duties may be assigned to meet business needs
  • Interface with engineering staff as needed
  • Assist in other areas of the department as assigned
  • Adhering to the letter and spirit of the company Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all other company policies.
  • Ensure Compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to your role
  • Representing the company in a professional manner and uphold the highest standards of ethical business practices and socially responsible conduct in all interactions with other employees, customers, suppliers, and other third parties of Globus
