Quality Control Inspector

We are currently seeking a Quality Control Inspector (QC) to join our growing team in Oklahoma City, OK. This full-time position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $20.50 to $22.50, depending on experience. As a Quality Control Inspector, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Alliance Steel Quality & Safety principles. Your primary responsibility will be to monitor and inspect all products throughout the manufacturing cycle and ensure that they meet our high standards before leaving the plant for delivery. This position requires a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of welding processes and standards. You will be expected to engage with welders, fitters, and operators to address any issues that arise and provide guidance on how to resolve them. Additionally, you will be responsible for completing various documentation accurately and in a timely manner, including Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), manifests, and safety observation cards. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of welding experience and the ability to read and interpret shop prints at a high level of expertise. You must be proficient in using inspection tools and have a solid understanding of the overall operation of the plant. Coordination with shop supervisors is essential to avoid work delays and ensure a smooth workflow. Adherence to company policies, attendance, and safety criteria is mandatory in this role, along with the ability to perform any other duties as assigned.
