About The Position
As a Quality Control Inspector at 3M, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products and processes meet the highest standards of quality and compliance with applicable regulations and customer expectations. Your primary responsibility will be to inspect and release both in-process and final products using established test methods. This position requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work with delicate instruments, as you will be calibrating and documenting inspection results meticulously. You will also be responsible for auditing quality documents to ensure they meet standard requirements, contributing to the overall quality assurance process within the manufacturing environment. In this role, you will support production teams by providing insights and suggestions for continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing product quality and quality systems. Your expertise will be vital in identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions that align with our commitment to excellence. You will be expected to communicate effectively with team members and management regarding inspection results and quality issues, fostering a culture of quality and accountability within the organization. To succeed in this position, you will need to be adaptable and willing to work fixed shifts, including weekends, overtime, and holidays as necessary.
