About The Position

Quality Control Inspector I is chiefly responsible for maintaining product quality standards by performing summary inspections, followed by decision making that determines if product standards are adhered to by our suppliers.

Requirements

• High School Degree, Diploma or a GED equivalent certificate from a certified institution
• Minimum 2 years of experience inspecting products
• Manufacturing/Distribution environment a must
• Basic math, reading, and communication skills
• Basic knowledge of using and operating warehouse machinery and equipment (pallet jack, pallet rider, order picker, forklift)
• Requires squatting, kneeling, bending, and some overhead lifting
• Works well in a team environment

Responsibilities

• Completes & retains basic product training
• Completes & retains basic systems training
• Completes & retains basic process training
• Performs summary inspections of product and records results into QMS as per VC process
• Is involved and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives driven by management
