As a Quality Control Tech, you will be responsible for performing quality control testing of production batches of inks and coatings, completing associated clerical work (entering results into SAP, printing labels, filing, etc.), performing 5S cleaning and maintaining the area, establishing and maintaining accurate and complete quality records in SAP, performing color quality tests; making batch additions and adjustments, implementing necessary and timely batch corrections directly to Production, calibrating and verifying test equipment, investigating and analyzing non-conforming batches (internal and external), supporting Lean Manufacturing, ensuring sample retention management, and performing some customer proofing.
