YOUR ROLEResponsible for supporting continuous improvement through company non-conformance analysis, reporting and corrective action. Effectively report non-conformances through customer ticketing system. Follow up and resolve incoming ticket requests. Validate any incoming damaged materials and assess sellable and non-sellable items. Models and acts in accordance with our guiding principles and core values.

Requirements

• Ability to understand, maintain and support quality standards and procedures.
• Capable of communicating and interacting effectively with multi-functional and diverse backgrounds and effectively presenting information and responding to questions from management, employees and vendors.
• Ability to meet and exceed customers’ expectations while working in a professional manner.
• Ability to promote the company Quality, Safety and Corporate Sustainability policies.
• Support, motivate and assist other team members in maintaining Quality Assurance standards.
• Positively interact with customers, suppliers, peers and employees influencing positive results.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years related experience.
• Prior Inventory and or Quality control experience.

Responsibilities

• Follow work instructions as set out by the IC supervisors and ICQA manager.
• Verify incoming, in-process and outgoing product with customer requirements.
• Record inspection results and maintain accurate record filing systems.
• Perform stock purges on nonconforming product as identified and directed by the customer.
• Action discrepant material (return, sort, rework, scrap, provisional release) as directed by the customer.
• Meet customer expectations of quality, safety, service and value criteria.
• Maintain quality performance data supporting QA Metrics tracking and performance improvement.
