About the position
We have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for Quality Control Clerk at our Ossining, NY facility. The QC Clerk plays a crucial role in ensuring that all products meet the established quality standards before they reach the market. This position involves meticulous inspection and testing of materials and finished goods to identify any defects or inconsistencies. The QC Clerk will document findings and collaborate with production teams to implement corrective actions when necessary. By maintaining high-quality standards, the QC Clerk contributes to customer satisfaction and the overall reputation of the manufacturing facility. Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections of raw materials and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate records of quality control activities.
- Collaborate with production staff to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and protocols.
- Participate in training sessions to educate staff on quality standards and best practices.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a quality control or manufacturing environment.
Nice-to-haves
- Associate's degree in a related field.
- Familiarity with quality control tools and methodologies, such as Six Sigma or ISO standards.
