About The Position

The Quality Control Lab Tech plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of products by performing a variety of laboratory tasks. This position involves following established protocols and regulations while conducting tests and maintaining laboratory standards. The individual will work under the supervision of the Quality Control Supervisor and is expected to contribute to the growth of the Quality Control Department through various assigned projects.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required; additional education preferred.
• At least two years of prior work experience in a relevant field.
• Good listening skills to ensure mutual understanding.
• Ability to multi-task and maintain organization in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to follow routine processes without deviation.
• Computer literacy and experience in a Windows environment is required.
• Familiarity with Excel, Word, and/or Access Database is preferred.
• Understanding of safety standards and hazards in a Quality Control environment.
• High degree of familiarity with office machines.
• Flexibility to work various shifts as departmental needs demand.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a laboratory setting.
• Knowledge of quality control processes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily laboratory tasks following Standard Operating Practices (SOP) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
• Use laboratory equipment such as Dishwasher, Balance, and Micropipette on a daily basis.
• Maintain laboratory files for materials login and inventory of standards and reagents.
• Support assigned projects and accept additional duties as required.
• Perform special projects assigned by the Manager, Quality Control.
